Why Novelty is Redefining Healthcare From Within

In the traditional corporate landscape, "Healthcare" is a department. It’s a line item on a benefits sheet. It’s a reactive measure we take when something goes wrong.
But at Novelty, we’ve realized that for a healthcare company to lead with integrity, we cannot simply "sell" health. We must source it from within our own walls.
If we are architects of a healthier world, we cannot afford to be crumbling structures ourselves. This realization led us to a radical internal pivot:
The 100 Day Challenge: Healthier. Together.
The 100 Day Philosophy: Moving Beyond "Wellness Programs"
The 100 Day Challenge is different. It is a 100-day commitment to radical accountability. It is built on the principle that high-performance output is impossible without high-vitality input. We aren’t just asking our team to "be healthy"; we are asking them to master the compounding interest of daily discipline.
Why 100 Days?
Neuroscience tells us that while a habit might take 21 days to form, it takes roughly 90 days for that habit to become a permanent part of one's identity. By pushing to 100, we aren't just running a sprint; we are re-coding our culture.
How It Started
At Novelty, we believe that meaningful outcomes demand more than intention, they require sustained effort. And sustained effort begins with sustained energy. To give our best, we must first be at our best. With that belief in mind, The 100 Day Challenge emerged not as a simple test, but as a shared commitment.
We started by setting a clear goal. Over 100 days, our team committed to collectively transform 200 kilograms. The target was measurable and shared.
There are incentives. The highest performers will receive smartwatches. But the structure exists to create accountability, not competition.
The shift has been gradual, but noticeable.
What is Changing
Team members have begun discussing routines more openly, from meal planning to strength sessions to sleep patterns. Progress has moved from private effort to shared conversation. The focus has shifted from numbers alone to the habits behind them.
Not perfectly. Not intensely. Just more consistently.
The defined timeframe has helped. With a clear start and end, the commitment has felt collective rather than individual. Over time, small changes have added up. Energy has steadied. Focus has improved. People have shown up with greater consistency.

For a healthcare company, that internal practice matters. When wellbeing becomes part of daily routine, it naturally influences how we work and how we think.
The 100 days may end eventually, but the intention and the outcome of these habits will remain.
Why This Matters for the Future of Novelty
From more than a decade of serving in healthcare, one truth has become increasingly clear to us: culture is a sustainable competitive advantage.
When a healthcare company prioritizes the wellbeing of its employees, it doesn't just treat health, it sets the standard for it.
Our clients see a team that walks the talk.
Our partners see a company that understands the value of human capital.
Our employees gain the energy, confidence, and longevity to do the best work of their lives.
The Finish Line is Just the Beginning
Yes, we have prizes. Yes, we celebrate the weight lost, the weight gained, and the miles run. But the true finish line of the 100 Day Challenge isn't a trophy or a gadget.
The real reward is a workforce that is resilient, revitalized, and ready.
At Novelty, we don’t just work in healthcare. We aim to embody it.
